Why is Alopecia UK hosting this event?
Understanding the types of products that are available for people with alopecia can be incredibly useful. Roadshow events have been held in other locations across the UK, bringing together businesses and those with alopecia in a relaxed environment. This event is being hosted and organised by Kelly Young, Regional Events and Support Coordinator, with additional help on the day from other South West support group volunteers.
How have the suppliers been selected?
We have initially approached South West suppliers based on group member suggestions, local knowledge and those on Alopecia UK’s Service Directory. All exhibitor spaces have now been filled and are listed above. However, it is important to note that there is limited space and so unfortunately not all suppliers will be able to have representation at this event.
Please note, suppliers who do attend the event are not endorsed by Alopecia UK – this event is being set up for information sharing and support purposes only.
Who can attend?
Anyone affected by any type of alopecia. Children under 18 must be accompanied by someone over 18.
Will I receive a ticket in the post?
No. No physical tickets will be issued for this event. You will just provide your name to the volunteer on the door 🙂
What are my transport/parking options?
Please download the ‘Useful Information’ document below.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please read the following important information before you buy your tickets:
- No refund requests will be given after 25th February 2020.
- Tickets are subject to availability and Alopecia UK retains the right to close ticket sales earlier than the advertised date should this be necessary.
- All make-up and cosmetic demonstrations are undertaken at the individual’s own risk. Before any treatment, please check with the exhibitor regarding allergies and potential adverse reactions to the products used.
