Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust

As a charity we have been working for nature’s recovery across Birmingham and the Black Country for over four decades.

Our vision is for a Wilder Birmingham and Black Country and we have three ambitious goals for 2030:
1. 30% of land to be managed for the benefit of wildlife
2. 1 in 4 people taking action for nature
3. 500 hectares of land providing natural solutions for the climate and biodiversity crises

We protect, restore and create habitats for wildlife to thrive with landscape-scale nature recovery projects and the management of nature reserves across the conurbation. We have created and restored hundreds of sites through hedgerow planting, tree planting and meadow creation. We also inspire local people to learn about and take action for nature through our education and engagement activities.
