Cohort 4 is a peer led, peer support group in North Warwickshire. We are women who come together having experienced a range of disadvantages, including: survival of domestic/sexual violence, mental ill health, disabilities, financial disadvantage, addictions and involvement in the criminal justice system. We come together to support each other and other women.
Cohort 4 were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2020 in Warwickshire and have two awards from the High Sheriff of Warwickshire and NWCAVA for Health & Wellbeing. We have been running from Atherstone since 2014 and offer a range of social and therapeutic sessions, advocacy and peer mentoring services. We are a women’s centre in the north of the county and do for ourselves, sharing skills, knowledge and determination.
