RicNic

RicNic is a theatre charity exclusively for young people. Our mission is to empower young people through engagement in the arts.
Through our programmes, we provide young people aged 7-25 with opportunities to develop their creativity, confidence and key skills through access to the arts. All of our projects take a fully youth-led approach, with participants encouraged to take on and explore all roles that go into the making of a theatre production, from the performers to the producers, the directors to the set designers.
Our programmes are
* Own The Stage – a primary school resource helping children find their creative confidence
* Engage – a project supporting teenagers to develop key skills ahead of higher education or employment
* Productions – a summer project led entirely by 16-21 yr olds
* Commissions – a programme supporting emerging young composers, writers and directors.
