St Francis Employability
We are a registered charity, based within an Anglican Parish Church in Coventry, working across an area which has pockets of deprivation ranked in the top 10% in the country and none higher than the top 20%. Based in the church building in the heart of Radford, Coventry, our primary aim is to transform our community and transform the lives of local people by helping people to move forward to social and financial inclusion and employment/education. Some of our services include a community café, foodbank, social supermarket, work club, employment support, volunteering opportunities, ESOL lessons, community support, friendship groups, accredited skills courses, training and much more. St Francis Employability has been supporting disadvantaged local people since 2014. Our projects attract people from across the city. About 50% of the people, we support are from minority ethnic/refugee/asylum seeking backgrounds. All face barriers to employment and are across a wide age spectrum.
