The Helpful Bureau

The Helpful Bureau is a charity based in Stapleford, Notts, and serving the South Broxtowe area. We aim to help older people (defined as over 55s) and people with disabilities to remain safe and independent at home for as long as possible. We provide a number of services to help with this:
– Volunteer Transport Scheme
– Gardener and handyman services
– Home support (household chores, not personal care)
– Weekly lunch club
– Befriending
– Reconnect coffee mornings
-Craft clubs
– Trips
– Grumpy Old Men's club and new Golden Girls Ladies' club
– Footcare
– Movement to Music classes
