Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA)
We are the local VCS Infrastructure Organisation for Warwickshire & Solihull, providing vital support to the volunteers, groups, organisations, enterprises and charities who are working to strengthen all of our communities across the county.
Every year our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers help lever in significant investment into the county. In 2018/19 the collective value of funding secured and volunteering opportunities developed was worth £2.7 million to the local economy.
We were formed in 2008 through the merger of separate ‘Councils for Voluntary Service’ and ‘Volunteer Centres’ to provide a single point of access for everyone who wants to engage in community and voluntary action. We have a collective history of over 200 years of supporting local communities to thrive.
We are committed to providing all of our services locally and accessibly. Whether you need support accessing volunteering opportunities, developing a community group, accessing funding or strengthening your governance, we have a local office and dedicated team near you.
