Make Good Grow Shortlisted in Chamber Awards

Make Good Grow recognised for Contribution to the Community in Chamber awards…

We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Awards in the Excellence in Contribution to the Community category. We’ll now go head-to-head with a number of high calibre businesses from across the region in an awards ceremony in Birmingham on Friday 4th March.

The prestigious awards are amongst Birmingham’s finest in highlighting the positive work of businesses from across the Greater Birmingham region.

MD of Make Good Grow, Rob Langley-Swain, said ‘We are absolutely thrilled to be named as finalists for this Award.

It’s a wonderful recognition of the work Make Good Grow does on a daily basis. We are driven by making a difference to as many lives as possible through skilled volunteering, we want to change communities for the better by super-charging the S in their ESG and firing up a skilled volunteer workforce to be a movement for good.”

Since launching in 2020, Make Good Grow has succeeded in creating an active and engaged community of Good Causes, Businesses and Passionate Volunteers.

Rob continues: “In 2021 we matched more volunteers with projects for Good Causes than ever before, creating tens of thousands of pounds in social value and hundreds of volunteering hours being spent. Our growth plans for the future are incredibly exciting and our ambition is to do so much more as we move forward. We would like to wish all our fellow finalist businesses the very best.”
