From Idea to Impact: The Story Behind Make Good Grow
Make Good Grow is a social enterprise that believes in the power of doing good. We’re passionate about partnering with game-changing businesses to create a world where doing good isn’t just measured, but celebrated.
Founded by Nigel Shanahan in 2018, he recruited a small but perfectly formed team to find the best way for businesses of all sizes to measure, share, and grow their social impact.
We started as a project matching service for good causes and Passioneers (our term for passionate, skilled volunteers). We haven’t settled since then and what you see today is a result of countless hours spent experimenting, testing and reinventing our platform.
In 2022 we hit £1m worth of pledges and received glowing feedback from our early adopters of The Social Impact Dashboard. In 2023 we’re showing no signs of slowing down.
We’ve already welcomed some significant change-makers to our movement – Gateley, Calor Gas, Amtico Flooring and The Belfry, to name a few. Through our strategic partnerships and outreach, we also ensure that good causes on your doorstep are benefitting from the support available.
