Quietnote sets the standard for responsible businesses everywhere!

Another pledge match packed full of positive impact in the bag! This time, we’re celebrating something a little different…

Will Crawford, Director and Founder of quietnote, hosted a music mindfulness workshop for The Golden Agers Club in Nechells.

Quienote joined us as a Good Business earlier this year. And, pledged to hold music mindfulness workshops, while also providing access to their online resources platform, full of music mindfulness and meditation videos. Their pledges for Good Causes are worth more than £4000 of social impact value!

We spoke to Will about his experience with Make Good Grow so far:

“Make Good Grow is not just about pledging our service, it’s about allowing ethical organisations the chance to work with one another and build proactive networks of people warning to change the world in positive ways.”

“These networks are helping me to build quietnote whilst making the world a better place – it’s a win win!”

We also spoke to Beverley Green, Club Lead for The Golden Agers Club, about her experience with quienote:

“We had a fantastic session. Our team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and there was lots of positive feedback! We’d love further sessions in the future.”

The Golden Agers Club works with over Sixties once a week, and hosts activities such as quizzes, games, creative activities and gentle exercise.

The inspiring work this Good Cause does is vital to the wellbeing of the older generation. In the UK alone, there are over 1.4 million chronically lonely older people. Regular, enriching activities like those hosted at The Golden Agers Club provides social opportunities for older people.

Will not only pledged a service free of charge to a community group, but also provided an invaluable social opportunity for the older generation – enabling them to feel connected and part of a group.

Will sets the standard for responsible businesses. Everyone has the opportunity to volunteer time, surplus products or services.
