Merchandise Designs for Homelessness Charity

Helping Hands Leamington

Our charity is all about local people helping local people in need. We give people the support and opportunities to feel better about themselves, be more active in the community and get back into work. Our team provide the basics through our soup kitchen and give a hand up not just a hand out through new skills, experience and qualifications.

The Challenge

Design a new logo for the Ester Project Create mock ups to show design on various types of merchandise
Jack Fitzgerald
I’m a graphic designer with a passion for branding and telling stories through creativity. I believe collaboration is always the best way to get the right solution and I get real joy from seeing my input having a positive impact in the real world.

The Solution

The initial brief was to create designs for some merchandise, but after speaking with the lovely clients it was clear there was a nice opportunity to expand on it a bit and help to shape the wider project identity. The key to brand recognition is consistency, so I wanted to create a design that would represent the authenticity, commitment and warmth The Esther Project provides, that could be applied to all future communications. I created a logo for the main project as well as the WOW slogan design, alongside brand assets that could be applied to the merchandise and other channels such as social media.

Thank you to Josh, Jack and Nic who have truly brought this idea to life by gifting their time and skills through the Make Good Grow concept. We are so excited to gift these to our ladies and just know it will make a huge difference to them to know they are Women of Worth. Thank you for making a true difference and for being so supportive and understanding through the whole process. Thanks Josh for facilitating. Lianne & Sue (Helping Hands)
